UGA Extension set to host income tax courses
University of Georgia Extension is hosting a series of income tax courses for experienced income tax professionals.
‘Orange Bulldog’ is an improved pumpkin variety developed by UGA scientists from germplasm collected in the jungles of South America. It has greater levels of resistance to viruses than conventional pumpkins. ‘Orange Bulldog’ made its debut in 2004 and has consistently produced yields of 13,000 to 20,000 pounds per acre in north and south Georgia. Rain or shine, the Sunbelt Agricultural Expo in Moultrie is the place to be for farmers and others working in the field of agriculture. The 37th annual Expo was no different as thousands flocked to south Georgia this week to see new technologies, learn from university scientists and see the latest farming equipment on the market.

Sixth annual Art at the Rock event set at Rock Eagle 4-H Center
Fine artists working in paint, clay, glass, metal, fiber and other media will converge on Rock Eagle 4-H Center near Eatonton, Georgia, Nov. 22-23 for the sixth annual Art at the Rock. The juried art show, sale and marketplace attracts around 75 artists and a thousand visitors each year.
