Friends, not 'deep pockets,' bring Rhodes honor
Edgar Rhodes was surrounded by a crowd of friends, family and well-wishers June 18 as the University of Georgia named its $31 million animal and dairy science research center after the former University System of Georgia regent. During the ceremony, Rhodes said there was no way he could have gotten the building completed without his friends.
