Dr. Ash Sial received the Distinguished Achievement Award at the Entomological Society Association Southeastern Branch meeting in Little Rock, AR.

Sial was presented the award by Dr. Amanda Hodges, 2023 ESA SEB president and UGA alumna.

Dr. Kelly Carruthers has been selected as a 2023-24 Service Learning Fellow by the Office of Service Learning at UGA.

Kelly will receive a fellowship award of up to $2500 to be used during FY24 for developing her proposed project. She will also have the opportunity to be matched with a mentor from previous SLF cohorts.
